Welcome here It is the 21st Cairo International Film Festival for Children. Under the slogan "The Children's World is changing" the 7th art is guiding us through a world which is changing tremendously, that is painting a present and anticipating a future The 23rd March is our date in Charming Cairo, the very heart of the world. The Nile's generous bound….. The kindness of the people……. A different scent of life……. An ancient portal of history…….. We will be the seventh art guests of honor in its 21st festival. The children's world is changing A new slogan of Cairo international film festival for children
The slogan of this year's festival is "The children's world is changing" to cope with the changes which brought by the Arab Spring, that echo around the world. Dr. Nadia El Kholy, the president of the festival stated that the 21st festival which will be held from 23rd to 30th of March will be different in its form and content to cope with the changes in Egypt. The official competition sections have been changed as well as out of the competition films, reveal what is happening in Egypt and the world. So the film festival for children is going to reveal the children's reality, dreams and ambitions clearly appear in the slogan. It is considered as the children's message addressed to both children and adults in the whole world. |

a year full of events, the 21st Cairo International Film Festival for
Children is launched on March 2012, under the chairmanship of Dr. Nadia El
Kholy, The President of the National Center for Children's Culture.
